Acknowledgement of Country

Darwin Aboriginal Art Fair Foundation acknowledges the value, diversity and integrity of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander art, design, music and performance as an integral expression of Australian culture and we respect the work of Art Centres in their support of the richness of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultural aspirations and expressions.

We acknowledge the Larrakia and Wurundjeri peoples, both past, present and emerging, as the Traditional Owners of the land upon which the Darwin Aboriginal Art Fair Foundation operates and will present its main events. We also acknowledge the diverse unceded Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander lands right across Australia on which we work.

We are grateful for the opportunity to share these countries and are committed to working together and appropriately consulting with relevant Traditional Owners in Indigenous Fashion Projects.
