2025 has been a remarkable and enormous year of celebration, reflection, new experiences, and pushing our edges. A year that has forced clarity: recognising the breadth and impact of the work we deliver, the growing demand for participation, the national opportunities still ahead to meet the needs of the sector, and the importance of balancing workloads to ensure the sustainability of our people and the long-term delivery of IFP’s impactful programs.

A year to remember.
Country to Couture marked its 10th anniversary with two spectacular runway shows, 20 unique collections, and a retrospective exhibition celebrating a decade of artistic innovation.
The National Indigenous Fashion Awards (NIFA) once again shone brightly, recognising excellence and elevating First Nations achievement.
Internationally, IFP debuted in Japan, presenting powerful activations at Expo 2025 Osaka that showcased the depth, sophistication and vision of Indigenous fashion to global audiences.
