We are inviting you to become a Founding Supporter of the Indigenous Fashion Projects (IFP) family.

Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander owned and governed, IFP collaborates with First Nations Australians working in textiles and fashion. It focuses on the delivery of a range of development programs, mentoring opportunities and promotional events and platforms.

IFP is a program of the Darwin Aboriginal Art Fair (DAAF) Foundation, a not-for-profit Indigenous organisation, owned and governed by 70 community Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Art Centres. All funds raised by IFP go back into providing opportunities for First Nations artists and designers, Art Centres and their communities.

Our Foundation has been operating since 2012, and is governed by a Board of Directors with representatives from Art Centres and their Peak Bodies, a Larrakia Nation representative and industry specialists.

Launched in 2020, IFP is home of the National Indigenous Fashion Awards (NIFA), Country to Couture runway showcase, the Pathways Program, and the Indigenous Fashion Projects Showcase at Afterpay Australian Fashion Week.
